When you're tragically single, it becomes very easy to go into a downward spiral of cataloguing all the reasons you think you're undesirable.  I say FUCK THAT!    Take those negative thoughts and turn them inside out, because what you think is undesirable about yourself is probably what makes you fabulous!  

I've wondered if maybe some guys think I'm too gay, but AIN'T NO SUCH THING!

I love being gay and everything that goes along with it mostly because Gay = Fun!

Sometimes I feel like I live in one of my favorite childhood magazines and I have a blast finding all the great things about being gay.  Please, join me as I dive into my own publication, Guylights Magazine For Gays...

This Is Why I Am Single: Sometimes I am too busy enjoying being gay to be worried about being gay with someone else.

This Is Why I Am Single - Difficult Single

Oh my God, you guys!  This weekend, because I thought I was too busy for love, I had no plans... turns out my plans are actually for 2 weeks from now, so suddenly I had time on my hands.  Instead of using it to pore over FU Cupid profiles, I decided to finish editing my Birthday trip photos from October before finishing gettting my home back in order from Craft Night!  I turned on the TV and got to work.  Before I knew it, I had watched the last season and half of DIFFICULT PEOPLE and eaten an entire bag of Chicas Corn Chips and a tub of cream cheese!!  What??  It all flew by so quickly!

This Is Why I Am Single; it's easy for me to pass an entire day editing photos, watching TV and snacking instead of getting my home in order or pursuing love!

I can't believe how quickly this year is going by... Cripes, I'm still editing photos from October!
That's one of the reseason I haven't gotten a chance to tell you about my new and supposed to be exciting life on a dating ap!  While I'm still working on that, I thought I've give you this little tidbit to chew on... it's kind of a This Is Why I Am Single deal, but it's all about F.U Cupid!

Why is it that when I happen upon a profile pic of someone on OKCupid that I find immediately attractive, he turns out to be THIS GUY?

I know, I touched upon it HERE, but it's nice to see I'm not alone on this.
And if one of my reader is someone who does this and I get him/her/mom to stop, then my work here is not enough.

He is simply adorable and the most amazing thing about this is

he never even peeks at his phone when we're dining,

watching TV or even while having sex!

*Cochino means "Nasty" in Mexican.

Gay of A Certain Age - Valentineless Among the Mice

For those of you who were concerned for me, worrying that I spent Valentine's Day alone and crying into a gallon of Salt & Straw Black Olive Brittle & Goat Cheese ice cream and drinking Campari straight up, relax I was good.  I spent the day at Disneyland!  I went with Oscar & Daron & the Kid and we met up with his sister and more.  So, fret not, I did not waste away the day sadding over singleness, I rode rides, ate sausage and oogled hot mens.

Be patient, I'll update this post with pics when I can catch up in editing (I'm still editing photos from Australia in October!)  In the meantime, please enjoy this photo of me Valentineless in the Happiest Place in the World, because as a Gay of A Certain Age, I know you're never too old to enjoy a day at Disneyland!

Gay of A Certain Age - Craft Night 2018

It happened, again!!   Craft Night 2018 has come and gone and I'm still happily single.  I crafted a few cards... Here's one, now!

As you can see, I have not given up on love completely, and have crafted a card calling for Love to come to me (...apparently with a spurt of jizz on the face).  I had my usual group of friends over and we went at it hard.

I even set up a little photo op in my bedroom (Apparently the only way to get anyone in there!) and the kids had such a fun time taking pics.

Even Duke showed up 

...with a girl. (playful angry face thingy here)

And believe you me, CARDS WERE CRAFTED!

We crafted well into the night...

G. Charles crafted me a special card!

It got so late, even Duke got  bored  tired!

So everyone went home, Valentines in hand with happy memories of Craft Night 2018 to last them a year.  I was too pooped to clean up, so I still have crafting materials at hand and who knows what cards I'll craft at a whim (until I get enough time to clean it all up.)
